A.MADUMAROV POSTPONED CONSIDERATION OF A DOCUMENT OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR WOMEN, FAMILIES AND GENDER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE SECOND TIME

Kyrgyz Secretary of State Adahan Madumarov was forced to postpone consideration of a document on national plan of actions on achieving gender equality in Kyrgyzstan for 2007-2010 for the second time. It was occurred at a regular meeting of the national council for women, families and gender development under the president of Kyrgyzstan.

A.Madumarov expressed displeasure on the national council’s work on development of concrete plans of action on gender equality in Kyrgyzstan for 2007-2010 and improving position of women.

“I was forced to postpone consideration of this document for the second time and give ten days to prepare the next meeting”, - said the Secretary of State of Kyrgyzstan.

On June 8 the national council’s meeting took place in the Government House.
