THE ROLE OF THE WOMAN PROJECT COMPLETED

"Human rights and the role of the woman in the society" project initiated by the Kazakh Fund for Social and Educational Advance has been completed. The European Initiative for democracy and human rights funded its implementation.

The project has provided young women with the educational course on such topics as leadership qualities, women's rights, and democracy. The project held seminars, lectures, meetings with various professionals, and cinema forums. After that, every trainee is supposed to pass her knowledge to a wider circle of female population (no less than to 600 young women in universities and schools, in Almaty and in other regions). The project was targeted at involving young women in social life and their social and women's rights awareness.
