ASHGABAT TO HOST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WOMAN’S ROLE

An International Conference dedicated to the role of Turkmen women in the life of society will take place in Turkmenistan on April 5-7 2006. According to the presidential decree, the forum is designed to inform the world community about the multifaceted activities carried out by Turkmen women, their active participation in the political, economic and cultural development of the country as well as to share experience and expand international cooperation in this field, the Ashgabat correspondent of Turkmenistan.ru reports.The document approves a composition of the organizing group in charge of the conference. The event will be financed from the resources of public organizations that form Turkmenistan’s nationwide movement “Galkynysh”.
