ROLE OF WOMEN IN POLITICS DISCUSSED IN KOSTANAY

Information seminar within program “Woman and politics” was held in Kostanay. This forum, organized by Kostanay branch of “Kazakhstan Businesswomen Association” (KBA), welcomed everyonewho wanted to learn the leader technique. Businesswomen, heads of enterprises and establishments, deputies of Maslikhats took part in the event.

They discussed the place of a woman in the present-day political life, problems of sex discrimination and women movement in Kazakhstan. The reps of KBA noted the number of women in the political and economic spheres grew steadily. According to them it was due to the work of nongovernmental organizations.

The participants of the seminar also conducted active training on development of self-esteem.
