WOMEN’S ROLE IN KAZAKH SOCIETY KEEPS ON GROWING

Kazakhstan business women association along with Otan party are holding a number of roundtables countrywide with the participation of representatives of women’s public organizations on Women’s role in the country’s socio-political life.

Its goal is to discuss a chapter of Otan programme concerning Kazakhstan women problems such as maternity, gender equality, protection of women’s labor rights. To date the role of women keeps on growing, however, women’s status problems remain still urgent and claim great attention, the organizers said.

The roundtables will take place in Karaganda, Pavlodar, Shymkent, Aktobe, Semipalatinsk and Uralsk.

Following their results there will be worked out recommendations and proposals.
