NEWS 8 January 2007 KAZAKHSTAN TO REPORT ON DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN Kazakhstan to make report on report on realization of the Convention on liquidation of all forms of discrimination against women in the UN headquarters in New York on January 15-17, Kazakh MFA’s spokesperson Yerzhan Ashykbayev told a weekly briefing today. Kazakhstan, where women make 52% of the population, joined the UN Convention in 1998.
